Great

It's raining. Max hasn't moved from the couch in hours. Judy's been in her room all day. Frankie won't stop staring at me. This would be a perfect opportunity to get the family talking...if only Jenevive wasn't in some tropical paradise. I'm the one who needs a vacation. I just want to know who's keeping score?

Timing

You think your work is hard? Try being an angel to the Stein family. If I successfully finish my task, I will get my wings. That’s easier said that done. The importance of timing is often underrated. A simple missed connection could lead to bigger problems. Many problems could have been solved had certain timings been aligned. The hope of the rising sun was covered by the cloud of bad timing. In an attempt to show his change for the family’s sake, Max planned a family event. Unfortunately Max’s surprise beach picnic for the family was undercut by Jenevive’s sudden decision for a vacation. Their daughter Judy’s smile faded as well as Max’s effort to change for the better. Will there ever be a time when everyone is on the same page?

“Bigger issues”

Well, the family was arguing again. It’s going to be impossible for me to get my wings when everyone is so stubborn. Judy tries to empathize with both parents but she’s young and inexperienced. Max was far too cold with the dog today. Instead of reassuring the girls with compassion, he just acted like he didn’t care. Jenevive didn’t understand that Max’s mind was preoccupied with their divorce and he couldn’t handle another problem. Why does it seem that humans prefer to be at war rather than practice peace?

Creating a lifetime of change...

Weddings are such glorious events! The union of two souls in marriage is a tradition that dates back before recorded history. An affirmation of life and unity occurs during each ceremony. I cannot deny the feelings of joy and excitement. Husband and wife are beginning a new chapter in their lives. Their future may contain the occasional bumps and potholes, but there will always be happy moments as well. Getting through those tough times makes the laughter and smiles sweeter – wouldn’t you agree?

Tough assignment...

I don’t know where to begin. Jenevive is feeling lonely and tired – she’s too busy to take time for herself. Max refuses to acknowledge the problems in their marriage. Judy is saddened by her family’s unhappiness. She is wondering how the divorce will affect her Mom and Dad. Why did I get such a tough assignment? Does anyone know how I can help this family?
